A long awaited update!

It is time for an update:

Since last I enjoyed a great 2 weeks 'composers residency' at the Amalfi Coast. It was a fruitful and really nice trip, and there is not many places in the world where I'd rather go to compose music. The bi-daily walk down and up the 1600 stairs, between Scala and Amalfi was also enjoyable and tremendously beneficial for mind and body. And the inspiration the more or less automatically comes to me, being in this setting and among intelligent and hard-thinking and focued people was once again in-comparable.

San Cataldo

Announcing new Berlin-based group

So I am starting out 2015 being pretty excited about a new group of mine. Yet to be named with a decent name! - it is a Berlin based chordless quartet, with the following fantastic musicians: Silke Eberhard on alto sax, Geoffroy de Masure on trombone, Roland Schneider on drums and myself. I am really enjoying writing music for this group and working it out with the band, and without making too many promises I think we will be recording and playing out live very soon. So stay tuned!! :)
